Flapping her wings silently, the queen of Seareaona made her way to the nest. She had placed a spell over all of the eggs quite some time ago, to tell her when one was hatching. As she happened to be passing through Teal, the spell alerted her to a hatching. It was the first time.

Now, she was making her way to the nest to see the first baby in her new realm. She was exited, obviously, but far more curious. Was the baby alive? What gender was it? What species? The queen wanted to know, as the spell only told her if one was hatching, not any details.

The moonstone dragon swept over the land, and eventually the nest came into view. She could see a fuzzy brown blob that was Jaqueal, and it was evident that she was holding something, probably the newborn. Opal smiled. That was good. The baby was alive and healthy. The nest was getting closer, and she went into a steep dive for it, a master of the sky.

Opal soared through the sky, as graceful as a swan. Flying really was great fun, she should do it more often. If she could get out more often. She heaved a sigh at the thought of the servants that awaited her, ready to treat her like she'd flown to the sun and back, instead of just going for a joyride. Sometimes being a queen could be tough.

But... That didn't stop her from having a little fun while she was out, did it? She chuckled and circled, looking for the glasswater lake that would soon belong to Jiaga. She dove for it when it came into sight.
